As a result of the success and growth of the orchestra’s program, MCO is establishing a full-time management structure which includes the position of Artistic Operations Manager.
We are seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced person for this full-time role.

Summary Details
|
This full-time position requires the efficient and effective management of the artistic duties of MCO which relate to MCO’s concert season at Melbourne Recital Centre, which in 2010 will include eight concerts, its regional touring program and education program.
The MCO season is presented from March to November each year, currently with eight performances in MRC and 14 regional concerts in two tours. Concerts are on Sunday afternoons and some evenings, rehearsals are often out of hours and regional concerts are on weekends and week nights.
The AOM works closely with the Artistic Director who has primary responsibility for the implementation of the artistic plan and the artistic development of the orchestra.
The Artistic Operations Manager reports to the CEO and also has a dotted line responsibility to the Artistic Director, working directly with him to implement the requirements for the orchestra and artistic plan.
