|  | Katharine Brockman has been a core member of MCO since 2008.
She has been the Principal Violist of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra since 1993 and a member of the Melba Quartet since its inception in 1999. She has also performed as soloist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
Katharine has appeared frequently as a guest artist with the Australian String Quartet. She has performed as a member of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Australia Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and as guest principal viola of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
